What’s a Zoetrope, well by definition it’s a 19th-century optical toy consisting of a cylinder with a series of pictures on the inner surface that, when viewed through slits with the cylinder rotating, give an impression of continuous motion.

You’ve probably seen one before, but none like this. ENJOY!

How often do people stop and ask themselves “Why am I doing this?” (try it sometime with something mundane, it’s especially weird), before we get too contemplative, you should really check out the fantastic TED Talk below.

It’s from Simon Sinek, a marketing consultant, who developed the Golden Circle of What, How and Why. His aptly titled book – “It Starts With Why” explores the concept and illustrates how understanding why we do something is the linchpin to inspiring action. His TED talk gives you a cliff notes version. We highly recommend both.

They came to us to help them build not only their brand and website, but the look and feel of their toys as well. It’s been a truly fantastic relationship, one that will surely grow in 2011 as we continue to add all kinds of bells and whistles! But we wanted to our work up to this point. Below you’ll find the logo, the front and back of the actual airport set, the website, and the interactive cockpit, which is going to get a whole lot cooler in the coming year. The cockpit was designed to enhance the play experience of the physical airport set, rather than have the kid sitting in front of a computer screen for hours on end. The whole project has been a blast and we really liked to idea of being a part of something that helps fuel the imagination of children.
