We started by giving their logo a slightly different treatment, making it more scalable, we then chose colors that really gave it some pop. Dig the screen shots below or see it in action here.

We gave them several options before settling on what you see below, we also integrated Flash animation into their menu navigation. Leisa Hart, the world renowned fitness expert & “Buns of Steel” guru, was looking for a face lift on their logo and website. She wanted to include some of the elements from her old logo and brand, particularly the “lh” but give it a modern flair that was natural & organic, yet feminine.

We arrived at the flower-centric look you see below and updated her color palette as well. She was thrilled with the results. We then redesigned her new website and utilized a 3rd party e commerce engine to propel the back-end and “Presto” new site.

Bill Cochran, or “The” Bill Cochran as it states on his domain (BillCochran.com was taken) is a Children’s author, who wanted a logo and website. So we gave him both.

After his first book, “The Forever Dog“, was a success, Bill wanted to amp up the branding for the release of his second book, “My Parents are Divorced, My Elbows have Nicknames, & Other Facts About Me”

We talked a lot about what he wanted to convey with his brand, and we both decided playful was the way to go. We incorporated his “hand-drawn” caricature into logo, and then just ran with the “hand-drawn” theme for his site. We actually drew the whole thing by hand, then scanned it in and worked a little photoshop magic. The rollover’s are pretty cool as we made the “hand-drawn” elements turn into the real thing.

Check out the logo below and a few screen shots from the site, or peep the whole thing here.

Get Floored Inc. is, you guessed it, a flooring company. They were looking to give their website a new look, so one of our existing clients referred them to us.

They wanted something simple, yet eye catching that would help separate them from some of their competitors. We first gave their logo a bit of a tweak, and then choose a color palette that really popped. The result accomplished the goal and the client was . . . wait for it . . . “floored.” thank you, thank you.

HR Fix offers a powerful, web-based human resource training and compliance service. They wanted us to redesign their website. After doing a little digging it became pretty clear that they were going to need a new logo as well.

Since they provide a remedy of sorts, we thought it was a natural fit (especially given the letters we were working with) to tie in the “prescription” symbol. They loved it and the rest is history.

The site incorporates flash banners and some pre-existing videos the client provided us, we like it, and do they.

We’ll be posting more stuff we’ve done for them soon.

Check the logo and some screenshots abajo or visit the live site here.

A Child Safe Home is a company that offers a number of child safety services, including child ID’s, safety inspections, and overall “childproofing”. They had a great business, but lacked an identity and web presence. They were seeking something that conveyed their services in a simple and direct way, which appealed to both children and adults.

One of the first things we thought of was crayons . . . and the rest sort of took care of itself. The heavy black outline on the house symbolizes strength and security in a world filled with those who color outside the lines, referring to the little ones of course. The website was merely an extension of that concept.

Client: Girlie Game Gear

Lynsey Adame, Founder & Designer of Girlie Game Gear, needed someone to help develop her brand and web presence. It needed to be young and hip with a little bit of flair.

The logo was designed to be iconic, something memorable that you could instantly recognize. We added the “scripty” font to give it some pep. The website is a VERY expansive e-comm site with a LOT of pages, but our focus, as always, was on keeping it simple for the end user. We integrated third-party ecomm software to give it wings, and we were off.
